Pada hari Kamis 16 Oktober 2025 dalam rangka memperingati Hari Pangan Sedunia dengan tema “Konsumsi Pangan Nusantara untuk Indonesia Sehat” di TK Strada Yos Sudarso. Guru, anak-anak dan orang tua berkumpul dengan suasana penuh sukacita untuk mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan Hari Pangan Sedunia yang penuh makna.
Anak-anak diajak untuk berhenti sejenak dari aktivitas bermain, bersama-sama mengikuti ibadat syukur. Dengan cara sederhana dan ramah anak. Guru mengajak anak-anak untuk merenungkan betapa berharganya makanan yang kita miliki setiap hari.
Anak-anak mencicipi serta mengenal asal-usul dan cara pembuatan salah satu makanan tradisional yaitu Jasuke (jagung susu keju) melalui penjelasan serta presentasi singkat dari perwakilan orang tua. Beberapa orang tua turut serta dalam kegiatan Hari Pangan Sedunia yang menambah semangat kebersamaan dalam perayaan ini.
Beberapa kue tradisional yang ditampilkan antara lain:
• Singkong Pelangi – Kue dengan kombinasi warna-warni dan taburan kelapa parut.
• Kue Pepe – Kue ini berlapis-lapis.
• Cucur – Kue berbahan tepung beras dan gula merah yang kemudian digoreng.
• Klepon – Kue terbuat dari tepung ketan yang dibentuk bulat, diisi gula merah, lalu dikukus dan ditaburi parutan kelapa.
• Dadar Gulung – Kulit coklat isi pisang dan coklat.
• Nagasari, Talam, Cenil, Cente, Jasuke dan Bolu Ubi Ungu.
• Es dawet, susu kacang hijau dan kacang kedelai juga turut memeriahkan meja hidangan.
Dengan kegiatan ini, “Kami ingin menanamkan sejak dini bahwa pangan lokal itu sehat, enak, dan bagian dari budaya kita. Anak-anak sangat antusias belajar dan mencoba berbagai rasa yang unik. Suasana penuh keceriaan dan kekompakan mewarnai seluruh rangkaian kegiatan.
Melalui peringatan Hari Pangan Sedunia ini, TK Strada Yos Sudarso berharap dapat menanamkan nilai-nilai penting seperti rasa syukur, kepedulian terhadap pangan sehat, serta pelestarian budaya kuliner Indonesia.
