Tahun Baru Imlek tepat pada tanggal 29 Januari 2025. TK Strada Yos Sudarso mengadakan kegiatan tahun baru ini pada hari Jumat, 31 Januari 2025 diikuti oleh anak-anak TK A dan TK B serta para guru.
Nuansa merah menghiasi sekolah mulai dari hiasan lampion buatan sendiri dengan balon dan botol air mineral bekas diberi tali menggantung di area taman juga ada lampion benar dan pohon sakura terbuat dari ranting pucuk merah yang dihiasi bunga sakura kreativitas guru menggunakan kertas krep. Pernak-pernik imlek seperti angpou, permen dalam kertas emas menghiasi pohon sakura digagas oleh orang tua murid. Busana yang dikenakan guru dan anak-anak juga bernuasa merah.
Kegiatan diawali dengan penjelasan dari Kepala TK Strada Yos Sudarso Ibu Emawati makna dari perayaan imlek. Anak-anak diajak untuk saling menghormati perbedaan yang ada.
Suasana gembira dapat dilihat saat anak-anak melakukan kegiatan menari bernuansa lagu-lagu Cina menggunakan topeng barongsai dan kipas. Setelah kegiatan menari anak-anak dan para guru pawai jalan sehat keliling komplek.
Semua anak-anak antusias dan senang mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan perayaan Tahun Baru Imlek ini. Kemudian pada akhir acara anak-anak dibagi angpao dan permen yang menggantung pada pohon sakura.
Semoga tahun yang akan datang dapat merayakan kembali dengan suasana yang lebih baik dan beragam lagi. Terimakasih. Tuhan Memberkati.
